UDK Sales & Marketing Internship (more details)
UDK is the mother company of a "social enterprise" family of organizations, with four daughter organizations/endeavors. We are looking for a special project team to the CEO that will move between the 5 organizations fluidly from project to project. Long-term employment is an option after the internship.
All candidates:
Need to be strong in writing & communication skills
Self-starter
Organized & flexible (may wear lots of roles in a given week)
Ideally, candidates would have strengths and/or experience in one or more of these areas:
Marketing - graphic design, basic web skills, social media posts, marketing theory
Writing - from grant writing, to blog posts, to copy for websites
Research - to vet potential business ideas, research business plans, market research, partner opportunities, etc.
Sales - Sales Direct Representative (SDR) type roles and other early lead generation.
A subset: Sales with a Technical background (IT & SaaS).
Hours: 10-30 hours per week depending on candidate's availability and the skills available.
Position is always Work From Home, but if it is a internship to long term hire situation, preference would be for candidate to be in the greater Los Angeles area after Covid for in person meeting purposes. Exceptions can be made for the right candidate.
Dates/Duration:
Depending on schedule of applicants, this can be flexible. Our plan is to have a continuous cycle of interns for the foreseeable future. It would be possible to begin earlier, or have the duration be shorter.
